Not a single soul knows when Katniss was born. Well okay not true. Emmett did know when she was born fifteen years ago on January 1. He just happened to be in the woods when he heard the scream. The parents of the baby was hit by another car. Their baby was in the back of the car crying and came out of the crash with just a scratch on her leg. Her parents died instantly upon impact. The other driver that hit them had been drunk and didn’t knew where he was going. That guy is now serving two lives sentences behind bars with possible chance of parole. Emmett told the cops that he’d take the child since he knew who would take care of her like she was their own. When he brought her home she went straight to Rosalie’s arms and she loved her instantly. They named her Katniss Esme Cullen. They had no idea what her actual name was.
When she turned four years old she started taking dancing and piano classes. She wanted to learn it. She of course learned how to play piano through Edward and dancing through a private dancing school. By the time she was seven years old she was a really good dancer and she was even offered a spot in a music video of an artist which her parents, Emmett and Rosalie, was kind of apprehensive about letting her doing the music video. After a good long talk and promise that she does good in school and behave she could. She hadn’t realized that it took a long time just to do one video and she had finished that video and decided she was done with music videos and she wanted to dance just for fun now. When she was ten they offered her a part on a tv show and once again the same rules had applied to it. She was had so much fun but after awhile she wanted to be a normal child so after a season she told the producers she’s sorry but she doesn’t want to do another season and they were fine with that.
Her parents were proud of her decision of being a normal child and supported that. When she was thirteen years old they had decided to let her go to the local junior high so she could be that normal kid that she wanted to be. She preformed in some school plays and was just having fun being a kid. She was getting into trouble just like any other child would and started climbing trees well okay she has been climbing trees since she was three years old which amused Uncle Edward and her Aunt Bella and they called her their little monkey. She still at age thirteen liked to climb trees. She once fell out of a tree from high up in the air and Edward caught her before she even hit the ground. She had thought that it would be awesome to be a vampire when she was eleven years old but told no one. Not even Alice even though she is pretty sure she knows he knows as well as Edward. Now though at age of fifteen Katniss was a Freshman unlike her sister was when she went to the school but she understood because her birthday was so early in the year but late in the school year.

Early Saturday morning Katniss woke up with a start. It isn’t everyday she had a nightmare. She didn’t like them in the first place. She rather not have them since it seems to worrying her mother that she is having them. She didn’t like that one bit at all. She preferred not to have them either. The young girl doesn’t like to worry her mother but she knows that she does. With her dyslexia she knows her mother is worried that she won’t pass high school but she does the best she can do. She sometimes dance a bit when it comes to math because it’s a form of counting and it helps her out a bit.
Swinging her legs to the side of the bed she got up and put on her bathrobe. She stretched her arms over her head and let out a yawn. She didn’t have to get up so early but she figured since she was up she may as well be. Walking to the bathroom she took a quick shower and freshen herself up and got dressed in a black flowing skirt. Her top consist of the color red with white poke-a-dots all over and to top off the out fit she paired it off with a solid red ballet flats. She pinned her hair into a half ponytail and curled the tips. Walking down the stairs she smelled some bacon, pancakes, and eggs.
Wonderful Saturday breakfast is something to wake up too. It seems they have that every morning but every once in a while it’s sausage instead of bacon and waffles instead of pancakes. Katniss loved the pancakes that is for sure. Walking into the kitchen she let out a smile as she sat down at the table. She saw that the food was on the table and she filled her plate with two pancakes, some eggs, and a couple strips of bacon. She cut up her pancakes and then poured syrup all over it and then took a bite. The taste was hitting her taste buds just right and let out a happy sigh.
“This is my favorite breakfast!” she exclaimed after she swallowed the bite. After she ate her breakfast she went off and practiced the piano. She loved playing the instrument. Not that she needed the lessons anymore from her Uncle Edward but she still does to make sure she remembers everything. With her dyslexia it’s kind of hard to remember because it gets all jumbled up but there was a trick she learned and that was to put the letters into numbers and count it out as she pressed the keys. Each key had a number and every number had a finger and she had to match that number to the finger and at times it turned out right and at times it turned out bad. But lately she seems to be getting it right.
